We Shall Remember Them
This roll bears the names of Argylls who made the ultimate sacrifice. We honour them not only in memory, but in every step the Regiment takes forward.

Sacrifice Remembered
At some point, 13 Platoon, C Company, was “retreating” and Glavin “took off with a yell … calling to them … and a Spandau caught him sideway and it cut him ‘till he fell …” “Sprawled out beside a broken Bren,” he smiled “a little lonely smile” and said “Bad luck eh Bobby?” before dying.

This roll bears the names of Argylls who made the ultimate sacrifice. We honour them not only in memory, but in every step the Regiment takes forward.

Find honourees by searching the person’s first or last name. For instance, a search for “Fraser” will find individuals with that name. Similarly, entering a few characters of a name, e.g., “Rob,” will return matches for Robert, Roberts, Robertson, etc. If you don’t find the person you wish to honour, use the Buy a Poppy form to fill in the relevant details.
