Donate to Support Canadian Troops and Regimental Heritage in Hamilton, Ontario

Give with Purpose. Honour the Legacy.

How Your Donation Helps

Within the modern Canadian Army, the phrase “footprint in the community” has become one associated almost exclusively with the Army Reserve. But it has always been the case! The Regiment was founded in 1903 as a result of sustained, focused, and continuous organizational activity by the local community. The ARF helps to secure that key aspect of the Regiment’s history and heritage.

Honour a Soldier

Want to honour an Argyll who served and sacrificed? Buying a poppy through the Argyll Field of Remembrance is a meaningful way to do so. Each poppy commemorates a fallen Argyll, adds their name to the Roll of Honour, and supports a lasting memorial in Hamilton’s Bayfront Park. Your donation helps keep their memory alive for future generations.

Note: The above is for illustration purposes only. Calculations assume 2025 donation tax credit rates and 2025 Federal and Ontario tax rates and consider all federal and provincial taxes and surtaxes and the basic personal tax credit. Donating mutual funds and publicly traded stocks with accrued capital gains directly to a charity can be a highly tax-efficient way to donate to ARF. This is because donors receive a tax receipt for the full fair market value of the investments, and are exempt from paying capital gains tax on the appreciation.
